1989

Startup

Christophe Delmotte started a sharpening service for individuals. Soon, the demand from meat processing companies came in to sharpen their knives.

1998

Move to a more central location in Ghent

Together with Hilde Deklerck, Delmo grew with a customer base spread across Belgium, making a location in Ghent a logical next step.

2013

Move to a new, larger business premises

The sharpening service not only grew, but the range of products also expanded, necessitating a larger business premises.

Second generation at the helm: Sylvie Delmotte and Jonas Leplae

With great passion and entrepreneurial spirit, we continue the story of Delmo, respecting what has already been built. Driven by innovation and commitment, we work every day towards a strong future for our customers and partners.
