Bekina StepliteS Cleangrip: protection solutions for the food industry

The best safety boots for the food industry are now available at Delmo

At Delmo, safety and comfort in the food industry are central. That is why we proudly welcome a new addition to our PPE range: the Bekina StepliteS CleanGrip in white. This safety boot has been designed from A to Z for professionals who work daily in a food processing environment, combining innovative protection technology with a sleek, modern design.

What is the Bekina StepliteS CleanGrip?

The StepliteS CleanGrip is the latest model from Bekina Boots, a Belgian manufacturer with over 60 years of experience in producing high-quality safety boots. The boot was launched in November 2025 and is the first of its kind with integrated knife protection, known as Knife Drop Protection.

The CleanGrip meets the strictest international standards: EN ISO 20344:2022+A1:2024 and EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024, is CE certified, SATRA approved, PVC-free, and RFID compatible.

Features and benefits

Knife Drop Protection (patent pending): unique on the market

The most distinctive feature of the StepliteS CleanGrip is the Knife Drop Protection: an invisible protective layer integrated into the upper leather of the boot. This actively protects the instep against penetration from falling sharp objects, such as knives. This is a real danger in slaughterhouses, meat processing companies, and other food businesses where sharp tools are used daily. No other safety boot on the market currently offers this protection in an integrated form.

Where innovation and performance meet
Composite (non-metallic) safety toe

The boot is equipped with a composite safety toe (S4 class). This makes the boot significantly lighter than models with a steel toe and ensures that your feet stay warmer, even in cold storage or refrigerated production areas. The composite toe provides thermal insulation, which increases wearing comfort throughout the entire workday.

Excellent grip on wet and greasy surfaces (SRC certified)

The blue sole of the CleanGrip has been specially developed for the food sector. The sole profile is optimized for less accumulation of food residues and improved water drainage, which benefits hygiene in the workplace. The sole is SRC certified, guaranteeing excellent slip resistance on both wet and greasy surfaces. Additionally, the boot is antistatic and ESD resistant, protecting sensitive electrical equipment from malfunctions.

Easy to put on and take off

Thanks to the grip ribs and the kick-off track, you can quickly put on and take off the boots, even while wearing gloves or in a busy work environment. Convenient and time-saving in practice.

Rounded top for maximum wearing comfort

The rounded shaft edge reduces the risk of friction and pressure points on the calf, even during prolonged wear. This way, you finish the workday without red marks or irritation.

Thermally insulating up to -30°C

The StepliteS CleanGrip insulates down to -30°C (-22°F) thanks to the Bekina Insoles and the NEOTANE® structure. Ideal for those working in cold storage or freezer environments.

NEOTANE® technology: the material that makes the difference

All Bekina boots are made from NEOTANE®, a high-quality polyurethane developed in Bekina Boots' own laboratory. NEOTANE® combines three unique properties.

The sealed skin provides a strong, impermeable outer layer that keeps moisture, dirt, and chemicals out. The tiny air bubble structure makes the boot lightweight and thermally insulating. The self-regulating thermal process ensures a constant, comfortable temperature inside the boot.

In practice, this means that NEOTANE® boots are up to 40% lighter than rubber or PVC boots and last up to four times longer. An investment that pays for itself.
